Hailing from North Virginia, USA, TWISTED TOWER DIRE have an impeccable pedigree and colourful history for a band so young. From the initial release of their astounding early demo's they have forged their own sound tempered from the best of the NWOBHM and US metal of the 80's. Their first full length album release saw the band established as the most popular of all underground Epic metal bands, with its high octane twin guitar attack and awesome songwriting. Following up with "THE ISLE OF HYDRA", TTD found themselves being courted by several larger labels, all keen to offer the band a new home should they so desire.

Several years down the line, TTD are now seasoned veterens with two European tours, numerous festival appearences and a home upon German label Remedey records. With their fourth full length due for imminant release, and the fifth ALREADY completed composition wise, it would seem these five heavy metal maniacs from the USA are making their heroic quest for world domination a reality.

In the meantime, members of TTD can be found moonlighting in other bands such as ISEN TORR, OCTOBER 31, WHILE HEAVEN WEPT and REVELATION amongst others....
