The word "Legendary" is oft used by cheap labels to try and sell a few more CD's to a gullible public, however in the case of Baltimore's REVELATION the decription has been earned via hard work, dedication and most of all, their incredible songs. Originally formed some 18 years ago by Drummer Steve Branagan and ex- HAVE MERCY guitarist JOHN BRENNER (Now both playing together in AGAINST NATURE) REVELATION issued demo after demo of their awesome Doom metal before finally issuing their debut album in 1991.. By the mid nineties, both John and bassist Bert Hall Jr had been replaced by DOOMSTONE's Dennis Cornelius and JIM HUNTER respectively.

Issuing two more albums in the nineties on German label HELLHOUND records, the band soon found themselves with no deal when HELLHOUND folded. Sadly putting the band on ice in the late nineties (Though members were active in in OVERSOUL and OCTOBER 31 among others), they eventually regrouped to headline such festivals as the DSR in Germany and BORN TOO LATE in the USA. A new album is imminant.....DOOM OR BE DOOMED!
