Since 1990, South German Doom Metal band MIRROR OF DECEPTION have not only been forging metal heavier than the heart of a black hole, but forging their own path too with scant regard for any media trends. Led by the guitar duo of CIDERSPILLER FOPP and MICHAEL SIFFERMANN, they have been hardy enough to weather all storms.

Recently slimmed down to a four piece after the departure of original vocalist MARCUS, they opted to continue with HERR SIFFERMANN taking over the vocal duties as well as his keeping his role as guitarist.

The sound of MIRROR OF DECEPTION, whilst retaining the grand traditions of TRUE DOOM METAL, utilises various other aspects, not least their willingness to perform numerous songs in their native tounge, lending even more weight to the already considerable power of the MIRROR OF DECEPTION arsenal.

Never a band to rest on their laurels, they are currently preparing to record their third full length CD for their new label FINAL CHAPTER.
